Pricing
Home visits from £49
No call-out charge hidden at the bottom of an invoice, and no price you only find out at the door.
Rates
- £49
A home visit, up to 60 minutes
Includes working out what is wrong and putting it right if it is something straightforward that fits in the time.
- £25
Each further 30 minutes
Only ever after we have agreed it with you. A bill never quietly builds up while we are there.

Larger installation and networking jobs
Priced on their own rather than squeezed into the clock, so you know the whole figure before we start.
How it works
Tell us what is going wrong. We will say what we think is causing it, what we would do about it, and what that will cost — before we come out. If you are happy, we book a time. If not, you have lost nothing.
If a job turns out to be bigger than either of us thought once we are there, we will stop and talk to you before doing anything else.
Paying
We take payment by Bank transfer or PayPal.
Equipment
A great many problems are down to how things are set up rather than to the equipment, and we will not sell you equipment you do not need.
Where new hardware genuinely is the answer, you can buy it yourself on our recommendation, or we can source and supply it for you — whichever suits. Either way the cost is agreed with you before anything is bought.
Why it works this way
Because a price list would be a work of fiction
“Wi-Fi problem” covers everything from a router sitting in the wrong cupboard to a house that genuinely needs wiring. A single fixed price for that would either overcharge the easy jobs or leave the hard ones half-finished.
So the figure we agree beforehand is the figure. The only way it changes is if you agree to more time, or the job turns out to be a larger piece of work that we quote separately.
- We agree the price with you before we come out
- Extra time is only ever charged once you have agreed to it
- Hardware costs are agreed before anything is bought
